Soy Mujer

After the great violence that happened in Mexico in the mid 2000’s, were weren’t able to travel up to mountains as we often did. But the Lord has his own plans. “Soy Mujer” began as a student project with three students from the Cora people group in the state of Nayarit. I opened my home to them and since then, the number of students has varied. It has changed a lot since we first began back in June of 2006, but our vision has been the same; to change lives by creating an opportunity through education.

Soy Mujer has been a beacon of hope for young women who had no chance of a future. One of my greatest joys is to see how the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ transforms them completely.
